Washington Redskin running back Terry Allen will be sidelined two to four weeks and receiver Michael Westbrook could be out longer after knee injuries suffered in Monday’s victory over Dallas, the team said.

Tests on Tuesday revealed Allen and Westbrook each incurred a “Grade 1” sprain of the medial collateral ligament.

Kevin Butler was waived by the Arizona Cardinals, two days after missing an extra-point attempt during a loss to the New York Giants. Joe Nedney replaces him. . . . Philadelphia Eagle cornerback Bobby Taylor was lost indefinitely after exploratory surgery on his right knee revealed torn cartilage and a partial ligament tear.
