House of Blues CEO Expected to Step Down

Under pressure from the board of directors, House of Blues founder Isaac Tigrett is expected to step down this week--as early as today--as chief executive and chairman of the hip West Hollywood-based nightclub-restaurant chain, sources said. Tigrett, who will retain a chairman emeritus title at the corporation, is being removed amid complaints by the board about high spending and poor financial performance at the chain, sources said. Tigrett could be replaced by House of Blues President and Chief Operating Officer Greg Trojan, sources said.
