Interpore International: The Irvine manufacturer of synthetic bone-graft materials posted third-quarter net income of $577,000, or 8 cents a share, compared with net income of $127,000, or 2 cents a share, for the third quarter of 1996. Sales declined 26% to $3.5 million from $4.7 million. The company said its dental implant business was sold in May 1997, while sales for the third quarter of 1996 included $1.6 million in dental product sales. Net income for the nine-month period more than doubled to $856,000, or 12 cents a share, from $419,000, or 6 cents a share, for the comparable period last year. The 1997 figure included a one-time charge of $617,000 on the sale of the dental business. Sales were down 16% to $12.2 million from $14.6 million.
