Cable Crash: Top of the ninth, the score was 7-4, and in this World Series anything could still happen and almost did. But residents of the West Valley with Century Cable didn’t see it. Their TVs went suddenly dark Thursday, not to return until after the game was over. Century, swamped with calls, didn’t have an explanation. We call it the “Heidi Syndrome.”
