Jury Deliberates Fate of Au Pair

After more than five hours of deliberation, the jury deciding the fate of a British au pair accused of murdering a baby was excused without reaching a verdict. The Cambridge, Mass., panel of nine women and three men, as well as the four alternate jurors, were sequestered, with deliberations due to resume this morning. Louise Woodward, 19, from Chester, England, is charged in the February death of Matthew Eappen, who was 8 months old.
