Updates--The StingRays get a look at the Glory’s grand experiment, whether a great player can coach simultaneously. Olympian Teresa Edwards is the only player in pro basketball currently trying to play and coach and the first to try it since Dave Cowens at Boston in 1979. Long Beach center Venus Lacy who suffered a concussion in Thursday’s game, will not play. She will be examined Saturday at Columbus, where Long Beach plays the Quest on Sunday.
