Grand Prix Picks Up Pace With 20 Races
After a shaky debut two days ago, the Los Angeles Grand Prix went off without a hitch Sunday, giving thousands of racing enthusiasts the opportunity to see hundreds of vintage sports cars speed through the streets of downtown.
All of the scheduled 20 races were successfully run Sunday, unlike the day before when 10 races were canceled due to delays in setting up the 1.6-mile, 11-turn course. Racing is also scheduled for today.
