* Gordon Blair Orr; Retired Office Manager
Gordon Blair Orr, retired office manager for the Saticoy Lemon Assn., died Friday in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was 72.
Orr was born June 14, 1925, in Montreal, Canada, and was a 28-year Ventura County resident.
He was a member and past secretary of the Saticoy Lions Club, and a member of the Ventura Retired Professional and Business Men’s Club.
Orr is survived by his wife, Norma, of Ventura; sons Howard of Camarillo, Alex of Temecula and Harold of Camarillo; sister, Mabel McVittie of Ventura; and four grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lions Doheny Eye Bank, 1355 Pablo St., Los Angeles, CA 90033.
Private family services will be held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.
