* Update--Candiotti has had two consecutive no-decisions. He pitched well in his last start, giving up only one run in eight innings of a 10-inning, 3-1 loss Sunday to the Seattle Mariners at Dodger Stadium. Candiotti, at 40 the second-oldest pitcher in the league, has given up three or fewer earned runs in 11 of his 14 starts. Saunders is a rookie left-hander, which isn’t good news for the Dodgers, who are 24-22 against left-handers.
