ITT Offers New Degree in Telecommunications
ITT Technical Institute in Oxnard will begin offering a bachelor of applied science degree in telecommunications technology beginning in October.
Students with an associate degree in electronics engineering technology or a similar subject from an accredited institution will be eligible for the four-quarter ITT Technical program.
Officials decided to offer the program after studying what skills employers need in their workers.

ITT Technical Institute is operated by ITT Educational Services Inc., based in Indianapolis, Ind. It is a private college system that focuses on technology-oriented programs of study. It currently operates 60 schools in 27 states.
