District Signs Contract for New School Chief
The Irvine Unified School District this week signed the contract for its new superintendent, Patricia Clark White.
She will begin Oct. 1 and receive about $130,000 a year.
White, 56, has been the schools chief in Encinitas since 1993. She worked for the Fountain Valley School District from 1965-77, first as a teacher and then as district administrator of employee relations and community affairs.
