Dry-Ice Bombs Disrupt Party at Pacifica High
An all-night, weekend party for seniors at Pacifica High School was interrupted by two small explosions caused by dry-ice bombs left near the school gym and pool, police said.
The explosions occurred about 1 a.m. Saturday. Seniors had gathered for an overnight celebration supervised by teachers and parents, said Garden Grove Police Lt. John Woods.
A search of the campus turned up four more devices; the Orange County Sheriff’s bomb squad disarmed them, Woods said. No one was injured, there was no damage to school property and no arrests were made, Woods said.
