Tim Duncan had 22 points and 14 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs won their fourth consecutive game and stopped Miami’s seven-game winning streak by beating the Heat, 103-89, Thursday night at San Antonio.

David Robinson added 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, and Jaren Jackson added 15 points. Playing without injured center Alonzo Mourning, sidelined because of a broken cheek, Miami tried 24 three-point field goals, but made just six.

Golden State 104, Houston 94--Jim Jackson had 33 points and 11 assists, and the Warriors had their best shooting game of the season to pick up a rare road victory.

The Warriors, who also got 21 points and 11 rebounds from Donyell Marshall, won for only the sixth time this season away from home.

Golden State’s 40.9% shooting is the worst in the NBA, but the Warriors connected on 38 of 73 for 52%.

Indiana 111, Minnesota 108--Antonio Davis scored 23 points and the Pacers survived the Timberwolves’ rally at Indianapolis.

Anthony Peeler sparked the comeback, making four three-point shots as Minnesota cut a 96-83 lead with 3:17 left to 110-108 with 16.8 seconds to play.

With 12 seconds remaining, Peeler, who scored 12 of his 14 points down the stretch, drove baseline and missed a short jumper that would have tied the score.

Seattle 107, Dallas 86--Gary Payton scored 22 points at Seattle as the SuperSonics moved into the lead in the Western Conference playoff race.
