Wet Field Prevents Zodiac From Playing

The Zodiac’s A-League soccer opener against the San Diego Flash was postponed Saturday because of wet grounds at UC Irvine. A makeup date has not been announced. UCI officials deemed the field unplayable at 2:30 p.m, Zodiac spokeswoman Natalie Cruz said. The game was scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Zodiac’s next game, against the Seattle Sounders, is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at UC Irvine.
