Tapestry Awards to Honor Citizens
A variety of ethnic foods, dance troupes and musical performers will be on hand April 25 for the local Sister City Assn.’s fourth annual Tapestry of Garden Grove.
The event, which celebrates the city’s cultural diversity, is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
In addition to food and entertainment, several community members will be honored with Tapestry Awards for their contributions to Garden Grove. Honorees include George Tindall, Mallory Vega, Preston Price, Andrew McTagart, Dr. Koo Oh and Bok Won Kim.
