Jean Wade Turner, 74, veteran editor for entertainment publications. A native of Wyoming, Turner became a writer, photographer and editor for newspapers in Montana, Colorado and Texas. Moving to Hollywood in 1979, she soon joined American Cinematographer. There she edited several books including “The American Cinematographer Manual,” “Anton Wilson’s Cinema Workshop” and Joseph Walker’s autobiography, “The Light on Her Face.” With her husband, historian and illustrator George Turner, she also co-wrote two books, “Wildlife in the American West” and “Hoofbeats to Vengeance.” She later worked for The Basix and EZone, two entertainment trade papers. On Saturday in Altadena.
