It lost $2.7 million in last year’s second quarter. Revenue fell to $2.5 million for the second three-month period from $3.3 million last year. For the first six months, the company earned $197,400, or 1 cent a share, contrasted with a loss of $4.3 million, or 21 cents a share, for the same period last year. The company said sales were affected by the closure of its Vermont facility, which accounted for a significant amount of revenue last year.
