Owner Larry Flynt and Hustler, which featured a topless interpretation of the painting “American Gothic,” lose an attempt to countersue Nan Wood Graham of Riverside, who posed for the original painting in 1930. Graham, claiming she was defamed by the photo, had filed a $10-million suit against the magazine.
