Neighborhood Panel to Discuss Expansion
Tonight at the Valley Neighborhood Council of the 5th District’s monthly meeting, City Councilwoman Cindy Miscikowski will discuss creating a communitywide neighborhood council in Van Nuys that would include representatives from the area’s five council districts.
Also at the meeting, Councilman Mike Feuer will discuss the North Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys Community Master Plan that the council will consider in the next couple of months.
Feuer’s discussion will include amending the title of the plan to include the name of the newly designated Valley Glen area, said Sharon Mayer, Feuer’s deputy.
The Valley Neighborhood Council meeting, which is open to anyone with an interest in the 5th District area north of Chandler Boulevard, begins at 7 p.m. in Monarch Hall at Valley College, 5800 Fulton Ave.
