Public Help Sought in Finding Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating four fugitives wanted for alleged crimes ranging from rape to forgery. Warrants have been issued in all cases.

Thomas A. Gamez, 22, is charged with a rape that occurred March 30, 1997, at Glenwood Park in Thousand Oaks. He is reported to have fled to Mexico but may have returned to the area. His last known address was in the 200 block of Wilbur Road in Thousand Oaks.

Gamez is Latino, 5 feet 6, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Deputies are also searching for Marynette R. Gamboa, a 34-year-old Filipino who was arrested in January 1997 on suspicion of forgery. She was released and had been attending hearings until she failed to show up in April for a court date.

Gamboa is 5 feet 3, 125 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Also being sought is 20-year-old Raul Saucedo. He was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon and placed on probation, but he allegedly failed to comply with probation terms and a warrant was issued.

Saucedo is Latino, 5 feet 5, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 100 block of Bell Way in Ventura.

Nitim Bhailalbhi Patel was convicted of possessing marijuana for sale and was placed on probation. He allegedly failed to comply with the terms of his probation and a warrant was issued.

Patel, 23, was last known to be living in the 2200 block of Callahan Avenue in Simi Valley. Patel is 5 foot 6, 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
