15-Mile Section of California 33 to Open
A 15-mile section of California 33 near Ojai that has been closed since February will reopen to drivers at noon Monday.
Officials expect up to one-hour delays along the highway, which was closed for six months after an El Nino rainstorm triggered a landslide.
Crews will continue cleaning the road, and flag workers will be on both sides to direct traffic.
Several other areas remain closed. They include Rose Valley Road, which intersects California 33; national forest campgrounds and other recreation facilities in the Rose Valley Recreation Area; and Beaver Campground on California 33.
For more road condition information, call (800) 427-7623.
