Six alleged gang members were in custody Friday in the slaying of a Huntington Park mother of four who apparently got caught in gang cross-fire during an evening stroll with her husband.

The suspects accused of involvement in the death of 37-year-old Rebecca Schlecht range in age from 17 to 26 and one may be subject to the three-strikes law, Huntington Park Police Lt. Kenneth Rulon said.

Three other suspects, including alleged gunman Guillermo Panameno, 26, remain at large, the lieutenant said. The other two suspects still being sought were identified as David Humberto Sanchez, 25, and Richard Diaz De Leon, 24.
