DeGeneres introduces an Oscar-winning coming-out film for kids; Moesha has dating problems of her own

The Disney Channel premieres the restored 140-minute version of the 1971 musical fantasy Bedknobs and Broomsticks (Sunday at 8 p.m.), including 23 minutes of lost footage. Angela Lansbury is host and star of the movie. She plays an apprentice witch in charge of three young evacuees in World War II Britain. She has a magical bedknob and a flying brass bed. For the family.

Hilton struggles to pay his taxes on the day they are due on Cosby (CBS, Monday at 8 p.m.). In an episode entitled “1040-Not So EZ,” Hilton gets some last-minute assistance from the youngest unlicensed accountant in Queens. For the family.

Ellen DeGeneres introduces the Academy Award-winning film Trevor (HBO, Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.), about a teenager who struggles to come to terms with his sexual identity. The film, which won the 1995 Oscar in the live-action short subject category, stars Brett Barsky as a 13-year-old who is feeling isolated. After failing to connect with his parents, he runs away, attempts suicide but is finally convinced that life is worth living. For ages 12 and up.

After deciding to forget their romantic feelings toward each other on Moesha (UPN, Tuesday at 8 p.m.), Moesha and Q are seated next to each other during a “Double Date” with other friends. They decide to date again but quickly remember why they broke up in the first place. For ages 10 and up.

Fox launches its Fox Family Channel with Mrs. Doubtfire (Saturday at 8), the 1993 movie starring Robin Williams. He plays a father who loses custody of his children to his ex-wife but disguises himself as a housekeeper and is hired to look after them. For the family.
