New Lodge at Yellowstone Park
The Old Faithful Snow Lodge at Yellowstone National Park, which opened in the 1960s with 31 rooms (only one with a bath), has been rebuilt from the ground up and now has 52 rooms with private baths, a restaurant and a lounge. In a nod to recycling, many of the former lodge’s pine and cedar timbers were incorporated into the new structure. Not recycled are the room rates, which used to be $52 but have jumped to $121 per night. Reservations: telephone (307) 344-7311; Internet https://www.ynp-lodges.com.
