The Doheny Days rock festival returns to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point on Sept. 19-20, with 12 bands playing each day on two stages.

Dishwalla, the Church and Berlin highlight the Saturday lineup, with other acts still to be announced. Everclear, the Royal Crown Revue and a reunion of the surviving members of the Beat Farmers head the Sunday bill.

Last year’s inaugural festival drew 10,000 people over two days, according to promoter Rich Sherman, with the Monkees, Duncan Sheik, Cracker, Sugar Ray and Violent Femmes among the performers. The site, also home to the annual Doheny Blues Festival, holds 6,000.
