Authorities Seek Help in Tracking Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating four fugitives wanted for alleged crimes ranging from failure to appear in court to possession of narcotics.

Gary Lee Boswell, also known as Gary Lee Reed, Dave Lee, Larry Boswell and Eric Starr, has an extensive criminal history and has served several jail terms. His last incarceration was at a drug rehabilitation program, which he failed to complete. A no-bail warrant has been issued for his arrest on suspicion of failing to appear in court, theft with a prior conviction and being under the influence of dangerous drugs.

Boswell, whose age is between 35 and 40, last worked as a mechanic or a plumber and lived at 152 Van Nuys Ave., Port Hueneme. He is white, 5 feet 10 and 190 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes. He has a skull and wizard tattooed on his right biceps.

Donald Alfred Reyes, 25, has been convicted of drug sales and being under the influence of drugs. A warrant has been issued because he allegedly violated the terms of his probation.

His last known address was 1424 Hill St., Oxnard, and he may be working at the Ventura Theater on Chestnut in downtown Ventura.

Reyes is Latino, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He has three tattoos, including “Ventura” on his chest, “Avenue” on his abdomen and “Reyes” on his back.

Angel Meza, 26, also known as Ignacio Mendez Ruiz, Angel Ruiz and Ignacio Mendez, has been arrested twice on suspicion of selling and transporting narcotics and has not been to court on either case.

He was in jail this year, but he was released and deported to Mexico by federal authorities. He has relatives in Oxnard and may have returned.

His last known address was at 2308 San Marino St., Oxnard. He last worked in construction. Meza is Latino, 5 feet 8 and 200 pounds, and has black and brown eyes. He has a scar over his left eye.

Also being sought is Samuel Cabral Lerma, 29, a truck driver who formerly lived at 5904 Cawleti Road in Camarillo.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing and being under the influence of illegal drugs. He was released when prosecutors did not file a case. Charges have since been filed and a warrant issued.

Lerma is Latino, 5 feet 8 and 195 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
