Man Sought in Restaurant Holdup
Oxnard police are searching for a man who staged a nighttime holdup at a Carl’s Jr. restaurant, authorities said Tuesday.
Armed with a handgun, the man robbed the Carl’s Jr. on Saviers Road just before 9:15 p.m. Monday, police said. The robber seemed to know where the cash was kept, Police Sgt. Ron Whitney said.
The man could not be clearly identified because he was wearing a shirt pulled up near his face and a Nike hat that was pulled down, Whitney said.
The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
No customers were in the restaurant, according to reports.
Police said anyone with information should call 385-7740.
