Vigilantes Beat Tri-City for 6th Victory in a Row

The Vigilantes made it six consecutive victories as they held off the Tri-City Posse, 4-2, in Western League baseball Thursday in Pasco, Wash.

Phil Kernan led the Vigilantes (17-15) with three hits, including a triple, and two runs batted in. Teammate Tracy Edmondson had two RBIs and two hits.

Tim Davidson, a rookie, picked up his fourth victory, pitching six innings. He finished with four strikeouts and seven hits. Josh Belovsky gave up no hits and struck out one in the two innings to get his 10th save.

Nelson Simmons hit a first-inning two-run homer to provide Tri-City with its runs.
