Reyling to Lead R.D. Olson Construction

Dennis Reyling has been appointed president of R.D. Olson Construction, an Irvine general contractor and construction management firm. He was senior vice president of operations. Reyling succeeds Chief Executive Robert Olson, who will concentrate on developing new growth opportunities for the company.

Diane Forsman has joined Interplay Productions, an Irvine developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software, as director of direct sales. Forsman was director of brand management with Fulcrum Direct Inc. while running its Foster City office.

Cedric Ferrell has been named vice president of operations for Towne Inc., a Santa Ana operator of mailing and fulfillment facilities. He was with Mars Inc.’s pet food division, holding positions in operations and purchasing. James W. Obermayer has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing. He had been president of Sales Leakage Consulting. Obermayer has also been vice president of worldwide sales for Stac Inc., a San Diego software company; executive vice president of sales for Inquiry Handling Service and vice president of Brentwood Instruments.

Valerie Teeter has been selected executive director for the Apartment Assn. of Orange County in Garden Grove. She had been administrative vice president.

Kevin F. Brown has joined Westec Interactive Security Inc. in Newport Beach as national vice president of sales. His prior experience includes director of alternate channels and Eastern area sales director for Experian Information Solutions.

John Musch has joined Pleion Corp., a Santa Ana manufacturer of modular office furniture systems, as director of marketing. He previously managed marketing communications programs for Beckman Instruments and ITT Corp. Musch also created direct response and promotional campaigns for the U.S. Army and Coldwell Banker.

Steve Hester is the new president of the board of directors of HomeAid Orange County, a nonprofit organization established by the Building Industry Assn. He succeeds L.C. Albertson Jr., who had been president since its inception in 1989, and will now serve as president of the board of directors of HomeAid America. Hester is founding partner and division president of Trimark Pacific Homes.

Glenda Davis has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Fujitsu Business Communication Systems Inc. in Anaheim, effective Sept. 1. She also has been elected to the board of directors. Davis comes to Fujitsu from AT&T;, where she was most recently vice president, advanced Internet services. Fujitsu Business Communication Systems is the North American business information technology unit of Fujitsu Ltd., a provider of information technology products.

Dale Crabtree has been named database manager for SK&A; Information Services Inc. in Irvine. She is responsible for the Hospital Management Decision Makers and Integrated Healthcare Organizations databases. Crabtree had been assistant database manager.

Donald E. Lange has joined the board of directors of Pacific Gulf Properties Inc. in Newport Beach. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Royce McKinley in June. Lange is president and chief executive of Weyerhaeuser Financial Services.

Mark Stauffer has been named director of regulatory affairs for Toshiba America Medical Systems in Tustin. He had been Toshiba’s manager of regulatory affairs since 1996.

Leigh Snyder has joined Platinum Capital Group in Irvine as vice president. He previously was with New Century Mortgage, Marriott International and Xerox.

Paul Rigdon has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president-retail division for New Century Mortgage Corp. in Irvine. Rigdon joined New Century in 1996 as regional manager in charge of expansion in the Northwest retail region. He became senior vice president-retail lending and a director in 1997.

Brian Allen and Warren Barkfelt have been appointed vice president, commercial loan team leaders for Eldorado Bank. Allen, who has been with the bank for eight years, will be based in the Irvine/Newport office. His prior positions include commercial loan officer, credit analyst and vice president, manager of the credit analysis department. Barkfelt, who joined Eldorado in 1995, will be in the Huntington Center branch office. He was formerly vice president, commercial loan officer at the Tustin branch office.

William E. Stracker has joined Berryman & Henigar in Santa Ana as senior vice president. Stracker, who has held senior-level positions in both the public and private sector, will focus on new business development in the company’s core capabilities such as transportation and civil engineering.

Scott Postle has been named vicepresident of business development, health care products division for Innovative Tracking Solutions Corp. in Laguna Hills. He is a 29-year veteran in the medical industry and specializes in health care delivery and payment policy.

Ned J. Sciortino has joined Sares-Regis Group in Irvine as director of construction for the commercial development division. He was previously a senior project manager with the L.E. Wentz Co. and project manager with Snyder Langston in Irvine.

Thomas R. Greer Jr. has been named director, services material management and national repair center for Toshiba America Medical Systems in Tustin. Before joining the company, Greer was vice president of technical services for Vertical Solutions Inc. in Cincnnati, a software developer and systems integrator, and director of logistic operations for Serviscope Corp. in Wallingford, Conn.

George Anderson has been appointed to the new position of president-retail lending for New Century Mortgage Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of New Century Financial Corp. in Irvine. Anderson joined the company from Advanta Finance Corp., where he was president and chief executive. He has also been president and chief execuive of Nova Financial Services.

Rebecca J. Callahan has joined the Irvine law firm of Wood, Bohm & Francis. She will continue to practice in the areas of business litigation, bankruptcy litiation and general insolvency law. Callahan was formerly a partner with Lobel, Winthrop & Broker and, most recently, had her own firm, Callahan & Associates in Newport Beach.

Kenneth W. Gerstner has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer of Millennium Electronics Inc. in Irvine. He succeeds Philip Harvey, who has resigned. Gerstner was most recently senior vice president and chief financial officer at Farr Co. in El Segundo.

Geoffrey S. Payne and Samuel H. Weissbard have joined the Irvine office of the real estate law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP. Payne was a partner at Drummy, King, White & Gyre. Weissbard had been a partner in the Los Angeles office of Foley & Lardner. In addition, the firm added Leigh Otsuka Linder, Padideh Sharif and Jean A. Tang as associates.
