* Update--Coming off a 5-1 drubbing of the New England Revolution on the road last Saturday, the Galaxy returns to the Rose Bowl, where it is 11-3 this season. Coach Octavio Zambrano said he will not allow the team to ease up, even though it has clinched a playoff spot. He might, however, give more playing time to his key reserves. Columbus is coming off a 3-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Mutiny. Forward Stern John has 17 goals in 19 games, six of them game-winners. Midfielder Brian Maisonneuve is sidelined because of a right ankle sprain.
