Shots Fired From Car Into House
Four adults and five children were watching television in a house when gunfire from a passing car shattered a window and struck the side of the set, police said Saturday.
None of the nine people were injured in the incident, which occurred about 9 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of North 3rd Street, Port Hueneme Police Sgt. Chris Graham said.
Bullets also struck a vehicle parked in front of the house.
Several shell casings were found in the roadway, Graham said.
A motive for the drive-by shooting had not been established and police were asking that anyone with information call detectives at 986-6580 or 986-6536.
