About 3,200 white sea bass fingerlings were delivered last week to the “grow-out pens” of the Dana Point Harbor Fisheries Enhancement Program, officials said.

John Riordan, the program’s president, said his group and the United Anglers of Southern California have delivered 5,700 sea bass to Dana Point Harbor since October. The fish are allowed to grow to about 7 inches from their initial size of about 1 to 2 inches. They are then released into the ocean.

Volunteers are needed to help feed and care for the fish until each batch is ready for release. Information: (949) 365-5100.
