SAN FRANCISCO--Whether or not you’re a treasure hunter, Treasure Island could be worth a visit. Starting today, the former Navy base is the site of a weekly open market where antiques, collectibles, food and flowers can be mined from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. After nearly 50 years under military control, Treasure Island is being transferred to civilian use. YOUNTVILLE--This mile-long community in the heart of Napa Valley continues its Festival of Lights nightly through New Year’s Eve. On Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 19-20, take the kids to Santa’s Castle, located in Vintage 1870 Wine Cellar, a 130-year-old former winery that now houses specialty shops.
