VILLA PARK

Judging will take place this week for Villa Park Women’s League’s annual holiday decoration awards contest. Denise Carroll, chairwoman of the event, will drive through neighborhoods to select the winners. The league will give awards for most whimsical display, Christmas spirit, animation and beautiful lighting. Honorable mentions will be given for best sparkling streets, the neighborhood that has most spectacular holiday display. Winners are expected to be announced later this week.
