Apartment Fire Set by Children With Matches
BALDWIN HILLS —
A fire started by children playing with matches caused about $130,000 damage to a two-story apartment building Thursday morning, city fire officials said.
No one was hurt in the fire, which started about 10:45 a.m. in the 4300 block of Don Tomaso Drive. About 40 firefighters extinguished the flames in less than an hour, said Jim Wells, a Fire Department spokesman.
