After 16 years of serving as the principal of Acacia Elementary School, Georgia Menges is moving on. She will leave her position today, and Mary Turner, a retired principal in the district, will step in as interim principal after the holiday break.
Menges is transferring to the Saddleback Valley Unified School District, where she will be the principal of a Lake Forest school. Acacia staff and students Wednesday renamed the school’s media center in her honor.
