Store Clerk Killed; Police Seek 3 Suspects
SOUTH LOS ANGELES —
A worker in a 99-cent store in the Crenshaw district was shot to death during a holdup Friday night, police said. The 40-year-old man died at the scene.
The shooting occurred about 7:30 in the 5400 block of Crenshaw Blvd., LAPD spokesman Don Cox said.
Police were looking for three suspects who were seen running from the store after the gunfire.
The killing was the ninth in South Los Angeles since Sunday.
