TUSTIN
Police have released the name of the 46-year-old man arrested early Saturday after shooting at an officer. Pulled over for speeding and reckless driving at 3:12 a.m., Stanley Holmes sped off shortly after handing his driver’s license to officers, then led them on a high-speed car and foot chase through Tustin, Lt. Mike Shanahan said.
Police charged Holmes with assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, evasion of arrest and as a felon in possession of a firearm. Bail was set at $250,000.
