A street repaving project in the areas of Louise Lane and Verner Drive should be complete by Jan. 18, according to the latest schedule from the city’s contractor. The work, which is taking longer than expected because the roadway was found to be more damaged than first thought, should not involve much diversion of traffic except on Jan. 13 and 14 when the new asphalt is still hot, Public Works Director Ismile Noorbaksh said.
