6 Found Dead in Home, 1 in Car

Six people were found dead in a house in Walthourville and another body was discovered in a burning car in what appear to be drug-related killings. The bodies of four men and two women were found in the town of only 800 people, Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman John Bankhead said. A seventh body found about 30 miles away in a burning car appeared to be linked to the killings in what is being described as one of the worst slayings in Georgia history. “Some of the individuals were shot, some were stabbed and some were shot and stabbed,” Bankhead said of the scene 30 miles southwest of Savannah.
