Out-of-Control Car Rams Into Market
SANTA ANA —
The front of a neighborhood market was demolished Sunday morning when the driver of a car lost control and crashed through the front door and windows.
Five customers and clerks at the market at Euclid and 5th streets were injured by flying glass but no one was seriously hurt, police said. All were treated at a local hospital, Lt. Dave Petko said.
A 50-year-old Santa Ana woman was cited in the crash, which happened about 11:45 a.m. Police declined to release her name.
