Have enough technology stocks? If you are looking for promising companies that are not directly related to the computer, Internet, semiconductor or biotechnology industries, there are some possibilities you may want to investigate further. This list was produced with a stock screen done with a Market Guide for Windows CD-ROM. It first eliminated tech stocks, then ranked the remaining companies by analysts’ mean estimates of average annualized earnings growth over the next three to five years. Of course, many of these companies make use of technology in their businesses. These estimates may not take into account events of the last week, and readers should note that many analysts work for firms that have some interest in the companies’ success.
