Reseda Crafts Store Offers a Big Supply at Low Prices
If you enjoy browsing through a wide array of craft supplies, you’ll have a great time wandering the aisles of Bev’s Crafts & Lace in Reseda. You also will find a variety of ways to cut the costs of your next party and your party favors.
Papier-mache, baskets, beading, gimp, ribbon, flowers, tulle, figurines and other components for just about any kind of party favor you might dream up are sold at about 20% less than other arts and crafts emporiums.
This shop seems cozy because the rooms are small, but there are several of them, jam packed with all sorts of craft tools to make favors and gifts for weddings, showers and parties.
I knew the prices were going to be good when I first sighted a little bug in a box that I have seen elsewhere for $3.99 tagged at 99 cents. Some nice silk flowers, appropriate for wedding favors, were also 99 cents instead of $1.50.
Charming little straw hats scream out to be decorated with tiny ribbons. Two-inch-long umbrellas would fit nicely into tiny sprinkling cans.
Lots of miniatures also make this a good source for children’s playthings. I found some charming furry cats for $1.49.
Keep on walking toward the rear of the shop to the Lace Room, where packages of pom-poms in a variety of colors sell at 50 for $5.19. Rounds of tulle come in packages of 15 for $3.79, and rolls six inches wide are 25 yards long for $2.99, or 12 cents a yard.
A large inventory of different kinds of lace trim is available in several sizes and designs. Felt squares in several colors are two for 59 cents, and rolls of gauze for ready-made sachets may make you dash for the potpourri.
In the back of the Lace Room are several clearance racks where just about everything seems to be about half off the regular price, so start here and work your way toward the front.
