Deadline Nears for ‘Artistic Italy’ Tour

Feb. 15 is the deadline for reservations for a 21-day “Artistic Italy” tour of Rome, Venice and Florence, hosted by art historian Helene Garrison and artists-professors Betty Shelton and Vito-Leonardo Scarola.
Offered by the Art Institute of Southern California, the summer excursion will feature art history tours, study and sketch sessions, museum trips and visits to Italian art and architectural landmarks including the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Vatican Museum and Rome’s Forum.
“Artistic Italy” takes place from May 27 through June 17.
The $3,650 per person fee covers round-trip air fare, hotel accommodations, some meals, transportation, drawing/painting lessons, tours and museum entrance fees.
