* UC IRVINE (7-12, 4-5) at NEVADA (10-8, 6-3), 7:30, KUCI-FM (88.9, Irvine)--Irvine had a 3-1 conference record two weeks ago, but has lost three of four since, including a 51-48 loss to Cal State Fullerton Thursday. It was the Anteaters worst performance of the season, as they shot 29% from the field. The team seems in disarray. Freshman Ben Jones, who had started the first 18 games, played only 11 minutes off the bench after a series of lackluster performances. Center Wendell Robinson’s play has deteriorated so much that he played only four minutes. Nevada has three players averaging more points than Irvine’s top scorer--Paul Culbertson (18.1) Jimmy Carroll (12.4) and Robin Kennedy (12.2).
