Robert Seidman has been promoted to vice president of pharmacy for Blue Cross of California, which is a subsidiary of WellPoint Health Networks Inc.

Seidman joined Blue Cross in 1990 as a clinical pharmacy administrator. He earned his degree in pharmacy from the University of Southern California.

WellPoint, based in Woodland Hills, is a major health maintenance organization.

* Crystal Dool of Dool Realtors in Thousand Oaks has been named a Senior Real Estate Specialist by the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council. Her husband, real estate attorney Scott F. Dool, also has been awarded this designation.

The council provides training and education opportunities to Realtors who serve senior citizens.

* Salvatore V. Ronchetti has been named president of Condor D.C. Power Supplies in Oxnard, a subsidiary of SL Industries. He replaces Tom Ingman, who is retiring as president but will work part-time with the company’s engineering development group.

Ronchetti had been serving since January 1997 as president and general manager of Interpoint Corp. in Redmond, Wash.

* Christine Hogan May has been named executive vice president of Pleasant Holidays, a Westlake Village travel company serving Hawaii, Mexico and Tahiti. Previously, May was vice president of administration for the company.

Pleasant Holidays also announced the appointment of Karen Schulz as vice president of marketing. She has 20 years’ experience in the travel industry.

* Michael Ireland has joined the Thousand Oaks law firm Van Sickle & Rowley as a partner and chairman of the business services group, which handles land development projects, commercial real estate transactions and disputes, business formations and reorganizations and general business litigation.

Ireland, who also is a certified public accountant, was an associate attorney with Cohen, Alexander & Clayton in Thousand Oaks.

* Service Employees International Union Local 998 has elected Tom Johnston as president of the executive board. Also named to the board were Darrel Moon, first vice president, Oxnard Harbor District; Ellen Mastright, second vice president, PSSA; Patt Foster, secretary, administrative support; Mac McLemore, treasurer, city of Simi Valley; and Steve Wood, past president, professional unit.

The union represents public and private employees of Ventura County.

* Mark S. Pettit has been named managing architect for the Ventura County operations of Lauterbach & Associates Architects/Planners. He replaces James W. Dierberger, who has been named senior managing architect for the company’s operations in Ventura, Los Angeles and Contra Costa counties.

Pettit joined Lauterbach & Associates in 1987.
