Magnitude-3.3 Quake Hits Off O.C. Coast
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
A magnitude-3.3 earthquake rattled the coast of Orange County late Tuesday, but there were no reports of injuries or damage.
The quake struck at 8:49 p.m. and was centered about 11 miles southwest of Huntington Beach, said Nick Scheckel, a Caltech seismologist.
The quake was not an aftershock, he said.
