Rides Available for Health Appointments

Medical transportation services for seniors are available through the Outreach Program at the Buena Park Senior Center.

To be eligible for the program, interested parties must be 55 or older, a Buena Park resident and lack other means of transportation.

Participants must preregister with the outreach office. There is a fee of $1 each way. Appointments must be to a doctor, medical facility, dentist or pharmacy. Transportation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday for appointments between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Thursday for appointments between 8:30 and 11 a.m.

These services are made available through Community Development Block Grant funds. The Buena Park Senior Center is at 8150 Knott Ave., in the Community Recreation Center.
