An early morning crash Saturday between a pickup truck and an Anaheim police cruiser sent four people, including an officer, to the hospital and led police to arrest the truck driver on suspicion of drunk driving.

Sandy Forgacs, 25, of Long Beach was arrested after the crash, which occurred about 2:15 a.m. at Katella Avenue and Haster Street, police said.

Police Officer Mark Brucks was westbound on Katella en route to assist another officer on a call when the truck driven by Forgacs turned left in front of him, from eastbound Katella to northbound Haster, police said.

Two other passengers in the pickup truck--Brett Binder and Michael David Ellis, both 23 and both from Fullerton--were treated at Western Medical Center-Anaheim and released.
