Maylana Martin scored 28 points and Erica Gomez had a season-high 12 assists to lead UCLA to an 86-54 victory over California. It is the Bruins’ 12th victory in their last 14 games.

UCLA, 15-7 overall and 10-3 in the Pacific 10 Conference, led by 17 points at the half and then extended its lead to 63-29. Masa Radovic scored 14 points and Amber Lacey had 10 for California (5-17, 1-11).

The Bruins shot 55% from the field compared with 36% for the Golden Bears.

The Golden Bears trailed, 25-21, midway through the first half but UCLA closed out the half with an 18-5 run and scored 21 points from 16 turnovers by Cal.

Olympia Scott scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Stanford to a 91-63 rout of USC at Stanford.

The Cardinal (15-5, 11-1) played without Kristin Folkl, who averages 18.8 points a game. Folkl, who broke two fingers two weeks ago, had played in a game Thursday but Coach Tara VanDerveer let her sit out against the Trojans, who were routed by the Cardinal in their meeting a month ago.

USC (10-12, 5-8) took an early 11-4 lead and kept it close through the first half behind the long-range shooting of Kristin Clark, who was four for five from three-point range and had all but two of her 16 points before halftime.

But the Cardinal took the lead for good eight minutes into the game, and opened the second half with nine unanswered points.

Kristin Clark’s twin sister, Kim, had 11 points.
